With over 20 years experience in the marketing, customer service and quality control Netstudio are takes a broader look at web design than just stringing pixels together.
An interaction designer with a passion for emerging technologies, Alwyn believes interactive media should function as beautifully as it looks. His attention to detail, along with his appreciation for aesthetic and user experience, give him the foundation for crafting engaging and usable web experiences.
Where I am
I turned 40 a while ago. I’m not quite used to the idea. In my head, I’m still in my mid-twenties: young, impatient, prone to irrational enthusiasms. Whereas actually I’m middle-aged, impatient, and prone to irrational enthusiasms.
On balance, it’s working out pretty well. I think I’m learning to be a better person. Kinder, more thoughtful, more dependable. I’m still learning, understanding things a little more every year.
Where I’m going to
I take pride in my code, and strive to make sure its code is not only elegant, but simple and organized. All of my code is hand written; I don’t use code generators or WYSIWYG editors in production. This way, I can ensure code is as readable, flexible, and easy to maintain as possible.
